CAMPUS AMENITIES
CAMPUS AMENITIES
The campus is a self-sufficient enclave with black-topped, well-lit
roads. Its facilities include a Canteen, a Post Office, STD/ISD pay
Phones, Courier Service, a Bookstore for all kinds of Textbooks and
Stationery, Copier facilities, even a Digital Photo Studio.
ALL MART is a multi-purpose shopping mall spread over 3000 sq.ft. It
stocks a variety of student needs from food to mattresses, clothing
and accessories to greeting cards. Students and faculty also have
access to a tailoring facility on campus.
Standby power generators are provided in the Institute, hostels and the well-maintained gardens. A cable television facility is provided on each floor of each hostel. Every room in the hostel and the guesthouse has a telephone connected to a central telephone exchange.
VIT SOUVENIR SHOP
A
house with souvenir items like T-Shirts, Watches, Clocks, Leather
goods, Pens and various other items with VIT logo on them. A
facility available to one and all, an opportunity to own a Souvenir
in remembrance of VIT University. It is located in the ground floor
of the Purchase office block and is open on all days between
10.00 am and 7.00 pm.
BANKS & ATMS
Three banks - the Indian Bank, State Bank of India and Centurion Bank - offer ATM facilities, besides other regular bank services, within the campus. Locker facilities are also available.
