Welcome to Splash Magazine
Had told myself a million times,
Not to fall for such a crime.
Love sealed my heart that tried to mime,
Love changed my heart to a plaster of lime.
I don’t feel sad for copious amount of tears and pain,
Cause even the sky cries for love but people think its rain.
The sky gets scrapped by lightning and thunder,
Maybe that was his major recurring blunder
A mistake that I tried to overlook,
Correcting errata in a faulty book,
But every time a new edition was published.
A bigger error arose to my deep anguish
Under this hot scorching sun and heat,
I ponder to him if I must retreat,
To the few times when we would laugh in mirth,
Find time to roam in campus and lurk.
Is it too less a reason to leave and go?
Maybe I must retrieve ……But lo!
Even man does not forgive mother Nature,
For her massive devastating disasters.
Should I go back to him and see
He says else it would be selfish of me,
Went down the memory lane to pry,
Realizing it’s not worth yet another try.
Lack in strength to start over again,
Heart cannot undergo such repeated pain,
Does love ever have a beautiful ending at all?
Like the wave that has an ebb but ultimately falls
