Paper Submission

General Guidelines for Paper Presentations

  1. Topics for Papers
    Papers submitted for presentation in the Forum should be on topics covered by the theme and sub-themes. Theme: "Impact of Globalization on Higher Education Institutions" Sub-themes: a. Global Partnership for Teaching & Research b. Internationalization of Higher Education c. Working Partnerships in Higher Education d. Global perspectives on Science and Technology Education e. Benefits of Research Collaborations

  2. Submission
    All papers are to be submitted online through conference website or via  email at  aupf2011@vit.ac.in.
  3. Format
    The full text of the paper must be typed in single space using Times New Roman, font size 12, with margins of 1" on all sides. An abstract of five hundred (500) words has to be submitted with the manuscript. The Manuscript shall not exceed 10 pages.

  4. Paper Presenter's CV
    It is requested that a brief curriculum vitae of the author accompanies the manuscript of the paper. The CV is needed for introduction of the paper presenter at the Forum.

  5. Language
    The official language of the Forum is English. The sessions and paper presentations will be in English. Papers written in other languages must be submitted with an English translation.

  6. Cut-off date for paper submission
    All papers submitted should be received in India by September 20, 2011. Early submission is encouraged to avoid technical problems of reproduction and the like.

  7. Eligibility
    You need not be an AUPF member to submit a paper. What is important is that the paper is in line with the theme or any of the sub-themes of the Forum.

  8. Acceptance of papers submitted and Registration of the author
    If a submitted paper is accepted for presentation the author will be notified. However, having one's paper accepted for presentation at the Forum still requires the author to register for the Forum and pay the corresponding registration fee.   9. Copyright/Publication
    AUPF and VIT University reserve the copyright over all papers presented at the 10th AUPF 2011.

  10. Proceedings
    The AUPF 2011 Steering Committee will handle the preparation of the Forum proceedings and will make them available on its website.
