Junior Research Fellow - I

Applications are invited for the Post of JRF (Junior Research Fellow) for DST funded project in School of Bio Sciences and Technology (SBST).
Project Title : 'Screening of extracellular matrix protein derived cryptic bioactive peptides involved in regulation of cell activity'
Number of positions: One
Qualification and Experience for the post : : M.Sc First Class in Life Sciences or Biotechnology / M Tech in Biotechnology. Experience in protein purification and animal cell culture preferable
Salary: As per DST regulations
Nature of appointment: Purely temporary. Initially appointment will be given for one year extendable to another year based on performance.
Age limitation: Maximum age limit is 30 years

Junior Research Fellow - III

Applications are invited for the Post of JRF (Junior Research Fellow) for ISRO funded RESPOND research project in Centre for Disaster Mitigation & Management (CDMM).
Project Title : Earthquake Damage Scenario Analysis for Chennai City, Using Remote Sensing & GIS Techniques
Number of position: One

Qualification and Experience for the post: : M.Sc (Applied Geology/ Geography/Spatial Information Technology/GIS) (or) B.E/B.Tech (Geo-Informatics)     With  working experience in Remote sensing and GIS. Preferable - knowledge in Earthquake studies
      
                    
Salary   : Rs. 12,000/-month (consolidated)

Nature of appointment : Purely on a temporary basis for a period of 1 Year and this may be extended depending on the duration of the project.

Age limitation: Maximum age limit is 30 years
