Hon. Chancellor G. Viswanathan inaugurated the Industry Academia Networking Conclave (IANC) – a confluence of industry leaders, academicians, researchers & students.

This pivotal event themed "Sustainable Technologies for a Better Future” was hosted by the School of Mechanical Engineering and Career Development Centre.

Dr. Samuel Rajkumar, Director – Career Development Centre (CDC) welcomed the dignitaries and Dr. Devendranath Ramkumar, Dean - School of Mechanical Engineering (SMEC), set the stage with an insightful overview about the conference.

The highlight of the event was the signing of 9 MOUs between VIT & leading organizations - Dover India, Ortholite, EDS Technologies, Schwing Stetter, Primaeam, Deutsche Windguard, GSH, TECHurja and Greentree GlobaL. Mr. Brahmananda, Sr Genenral Manager - Schneider Electric was the Guest of Honour and Mr. R. Senthil Kumar, Deputy Vice President (Power Trains) - Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India was the Chief Guest.
