Chinmay K
Maiti,
received his B. Tech. in Applied
Physics, M. Tech. in Radiophysics and Electronics from the University of
Calcutta, India. He obtained his M. Sc. (by research) in Hybrid Microelectronics
from the University
of Technology,
Loughborough, UK and PhD degree from IIT Kharagpur in the area of
Microwaves. His current research interests include heterostructure silicon,
technology computer aided design (TCAD), modelling and simulation of advanced
semiconductor devices and development of online laboratories. He has published
more than 200 technical papers and coauthored four research level books entitled
"Applications of Silicon-Germanium Heterostructure Devices", published by the
Institute of Physics Publishing (IOP), UK, 2001, "Silicon Heterostructures:
Materials and Devices", published by the Institution of Electrical Engineers
(IEE), UK, 2001, "Strained-Si Heterostructure Field-Effect
Devices", published by CRC Press (Taylor and Francis), USA, 2007, "TCAD for Si,
SiGe and GaAs Integrated Circuits", published by the Institution of Engineering
and Technology (IET), UK, 2008. He has also edited "Selected Works of Professor
Herbert Kroemer", published by World Scientific, Singapore, 2008. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE.

Dr. Partha S Mallick, completed his Ph.D from
Jadavpur University, India, has 4 years of Industry Experience in a Sweden based
electronics industry named IAAB Electronics, 5 years of Research Experience at
Jadavpur University, Kolkata and 7 years of Teaching Experience at National
Institute of Science and Technology, India. Dr Mallick has been serving the
School of Electrical Engineering, VIT University, Tamilnadu, India as a
Professor since August 2007. He has published 28 research papers in various
reputed International Journals and Conference Proceedings. His current area of
research interest includes Optoelectronic Material and Devices, VLSI
Engineering, Nanoelectronics and Nanophotonics. He is a Senior Member of IEEE,
IEEE-EDS, Life member of IACS, ISTE, PSI, OMS, OCS and Indian Laser Association.
He has authored a book titled “Matlab and Simulink- an Introduction to
Applications”. Dr Mallick has received the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru
Scholarship in 1998 for his PhD research work. He is an enlisted member of
worlds Who’s who in Science and Engineering. |
