Objectives
  • To provide knowledge in genetics and biomedical genetics and equip students understand the genetic basis of diseases and prevention
  • To enable students understand molecular mechanisms through which genes cause diseases
  • To enable students apply knowledge of ethical issues in genetics and genetic counselling
  • To provide students opportunities to participate in R&D projects, and develop clinical and laboratory research skills.
