VIT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Thiruvananthapuram.
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC–Global) and ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) on 29 January 2026.
The event held at VIT Vellore on 12th Jan 2025, was organised by the Office of Students’ Welfare in association with Bharathidasan Tamil Literary Club, and the School of Agriculture, and presided over by Founder & Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan.
The Centre for Clean Environment (CCE) at VIT Vellore has been awarded a prestigious grant of ₹72,57,600/- for a two-year project under the Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration (SPARC), Ministry of Education, Government of India. The award was received from Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon. Minister of Education, Government of India, and Shri. Jason Clare, Hon. Minister of Education, Government of Australia, during the 3rd Australia-India Education and Skills Council (AIESC) in New Delhi!
The project, titled “Quantitative Assessment of Socio-Economic and Environmental Impacts of the Leather Industry in India and Identification of Remedial Pathways,” is a crucial step in promoting Energy, Sustainability, and Climate Change solutions.
