The MAGX’19 Organising Committee together with School of Design, VIT Vellore has the pleasure of inviting graduates to participate in the Contest in accordance with these Regulations.

The theme of the poster design will be revealed right before the starting of the competition. (On the spot)

The registration fee for the event is Rs.150/- only. The last date for registrations for competition is July 31st 2019.

• Participant must be pursuing his/her graduation.
• Participants must bring their university/college/Institution Identification card during competition.
• Participant must register using the official registration form.
• The payment must be done before July 31st , 2019.

Reporting time: Friday, August 9th, 2019- 09:00 AM
Competition Starts: Friday, August 9th, 2019 - 12:00 Noon
Competition Duration: 6 continuous hours
Tool: Adobe Photoshop/ Adobe Illustrator

• The tool for the graphics design competition will be Adobe Photoshop/ Adobe Illustrator and no other software preferences are entertained.
• Participants are expected to add more detail to the design on the theme.
• The students won’t be allowed to access the Internet for reference images/textures.
• Participants must present their current valid student ID-Proof.
• Participants must make their own travel arrangements to the venue – VIT University, Vellore, for the days of the competition.
• All participants will assemble under a common roof on the given day for the competition. The venue details will be shared days before the competition.
• Since this is a competition, participants must factor strenuous working conditions and approach the competition in a healthy manner. Organizers will not be held responsible under any circumstances.
• Participants are responsible for their source files.
• Participants will be disqualified, if found using any external devices for reference during the competition.
• Participants will be disqualified if they found tampering with the computers and activities such as intended shutdown, restarts, etc.

• Final design based on the given theme.
• The file should be saved as (.psd or .ai) along with the output as JPEG only.

• The decision of the judges is final and no discussion will be entertained over the decision.
• A panel of experts from the Industry will judge the competition.
• The organizers of the competition reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this competition should external circumstances arise which are beyond the reasonable control of the competition organizer.
