AIRTF and RTF-DCS

VIT has been recognised by the Department of Science and Technology as one of the Host Institutes in India to receive scientists and research scholars who have been awarded the prestigious ASEAN- India Research Training Fellowship (AIRTF) programme and Research Training Fellowship Developing Countries Scientist (RTF-DCS). The main aim of these programs is to promote mobility of scientists and research scholars between the host institute in India and other ASEAN countries in order to facilitate exchange of knowledge and to co-supervise the Ph.D./M.Tech students and build networking between the two Institutes.
Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics, (CBCMT), VIT, is happy to host a scientist and a research scholar under the above schemes for the academic year 2019 from Monash University, Malaysia. The scientist from Malaysia will undertake research training is in the field of surface coatings of Magnesium Implant under the guidance of Dr.Geetha Manivasagam, Director, CBCMT.
